Baroque Ball

The Baroque Ball returns to the Museum of Lisbon - Palácio Pimenta to celebrate International Museum Day. With free admission, this will be a special occasion to experience the atmosphere of a period ball in a baroque palace, with guidance from a dance master so that everyone gets the steps right.

Accept our invitation to dress up and come dance with the Early Music Ensemble "Les Secrets des Roys". Take part in the visits with entertainment to the museum exhibition, in the tile painting workshops of Atelier Wabisabi or in the various traditional games that will be recreated in the Patio das Tílias. All this under the watchful eye of the illustrator La Vie by Pi, who will draw details of this very special environment live.

Specialising in period shows, the ensemble "Les Secrets des Roys" formed in 2009 and takes particular care in the scenic preparation of their performances, an essential complement to musical interpretation. Their repertoire includes sacred and secular works by composers from various European countries.
