At the end of the 19th century, Lisbon underwent major economic, social and urban changes, partly driven by industrial development. In the riverside area, starting in Santa Apolónia, factory structures appeared, and with them, worker neighbourhoods. In this tour, which ends at the Milling Factory of the Former Military Maintenance, we reveal the daily life linked to these transformations in the city.
