Brothers André and Bruno Santos, two of the most renowned guitarists in Portugal, form the duo Mano a Mano, bringing together their guitars and Madeiran chordophones to celebrate the season of Christmas and its emblematic songs, focusing on jazz and traditional Madeiran repertoire.

Besides their arrangements, André and Bruno Santos have also created their own Christmas repertoire, composing one original each. All this gave rise to an album and show which premièred at Teatro Baltazar Dias in Funchal in December 2020. A year later, the album will be presented in the beautiful setting of the Santo António Church in Lisbon.

With several records released under their own name and participating in various projects (with Maria João, Carlos Bica, Rita Redshoes, Salvador Sobral, 7to / Hot Clube de Portugal Big Band, among others), André and Bruno Santos are teachers at the Hot Clube de Portugal school. Indeed, the elder brother, Bruno, has been the school's director for a decade, with another 10 years teaching on the bachelor's and master's degree courses at the Lisbon Music School.
