Are you bothered by hustle and bustle that makes your hair fall out? Have you become too chumby around the belly? Or are you suffering from something even worse? Don’t lose hope! From his wondrous pop-up wagon, Mr. Q now presents the miracle cure Wonder Tonic!

In this fantasy adventure, Mr. Q turns on his charm when a pop-up move transforms his wondrous wagon and he welcomes the audience into a puppet universe where the truth behind Wonder Tonic is revealed, produced and sold.

BIO

The Sofie Krog Teater areone of the leading puppet theatres companies in Denmark, who are known for a unique comical universe with magic set designs that open up, amaze and wonder the audience.
The company was started in 2003 by puppeteer and puppet maker Sofie Krog and was expanded in 2009 when the set designer and puppeteer David Faraco came on board. The company is touring nationally and internationally and has won numerous awards for their performances. 

 

This show is part of the programme of the 23.ª edição do Festival Internacional de Marionetas e Formas Animadas ​​​​​that takes place in Lisbon from May 18th to June 4th, a production of the company A Tarumba - Teatro de Marionetas, with artistic direction by Luís Vieira and Rute Ribeiro.
