From tennis to car racing, sport grew increasingly popular in the 1920s. Synonymous with health and beauty, the practice of sport was an attribute of an elegant society. For others, it became a form of mass entertainment, with many people listening to football reports on the radio.

In this visit to the exhibition The Roaring Twenties in Lisbon we discover how some sports have become a mass phenomenon with the popularization of sports such as football, cycling, athletics, boxing, rugby and motor racing.
