Ceramics

Featuring almost 4,000 items, this collection reveals Lisbon's status as a ceramic-producing city, where some of Portugal's main factories were located. It features common, utilitarian ceramic pieces, prestigious decorative faience and façade tiles, focusing particularly on items made at the main factories from the 18th to the 20th century, including the Real Fábrica de Louça at Rato, Real Fábrica at Bica do Sapato, Roseira, Lusitânia, Sant’Anna and Constância, among many others.
