On the month that the archaeological site of the Roman theatre in Lisbon hosts Antigone, by the Greek poet Sophocles, the museum presents a costume and props exhibition by Valentim Quaresma.

The garments on display took the Roman Theatre stage in 2019 and 2020 with Oedipus Rex and Medea, from the Greek poets and playwriters Sophocles and Euripides, written in the remote 5th century B.C.

Props and costumes are a creation of Valentim Quaresma that, in a surprising and absolutely beautiful way, reinvents props that characterize historical and mythical characters which accompany us until today.
