The visit to the Roman Galleries will be followed by a walking tour of the main archaeological remains of the Roman city to the archaeological site of the Roman Theatre, the oldest stage in Lisbon, which is almost 2000 years old.

In recognizing the Roman city and its organization and the archaeological excavation sites on Colina do Castelo, the importance of research, preservation and dissemination of cultural heritage are highlighted as fundamental elements for discovering our collective identity.

 

Please arrive to the meeting point 15 minutes before the time and present your ticket to the staff.
This visit is not recommended for people with reduced mobility.
The Roman Galleries can only be visited in group tours that last between 20 and 25 minutes. 
Visitors should wear waterproof shoes and comfortable clothing.
