In the medieval European calendar, each season had its own special Christian celebration, often based on older pagan traditions.

Christmas was one of the highlights of these annual festivities, with many traditions that are similar to contemporary ones and others that are quite distinct.

In this fun event at the Museum, we celebrate as it was the Middle Ages, starting with a novelty from the 13th century: the nativity scene.
